The intent of this information is to give “you” (the potential patient) good thoughtful information that you can use to ask better questions when selecting the “right” chiropractor for you and your family—These questions are not in any particular order of importance, but should equally be considered when choosing a chiropractic physician for yourself, a family member, or co-worker.
Will / does the chiropractor take the time to properly identify what your complaint is and arrive at a possible diagnosis?
Will he or she recommend diagnostic scan (ie–x-rays, MRI’s, CT scan, ultrasounds, etc) if your condition warrants?
What is the average treatment time per treatment?….in other words, will you be rushed in and out of the office with your condition still problematic?
Does the doctor treat in an open-bay treatment area (no closed doors–all patients are treated in one large room), or does the doctor have a private treatment room per patient?
Will the doctor or his/her staff clearly state the office clinic treatment fees (or are they posted), whether your filing insurance or cash fees?
Will the doctor treat you the same day that you schedule at his/her office?…and can the doctor see you on an as-needed basis or do they require you to set-up a series of treatments?
Does the doctor have a referral network of specialists that they can refer to when or if your condition warrants?
Can the doctor’s office provide you with a variety of payment options or plans for the services provided?…and will their office guarantee that you’ll have satisfactory experience or your visit is FREE?
What type of pre-therapies does the doctor provide prior to the chiropractic treatment in order to relax, expedite healing, and maximize treatment comfort?
Does the doctor have convenient hours, as well as, after-hours emergency times that you can be seen?
These questions aren’t intended to represent all of the possible questions that you could ask , but these questions can certainly inform and direct you when choosing and selecting the chiropractor that’s the best fit for you and your family
